    도서소개

    이 책은 중국천문학과 서양천문학의 교류 및 융합의 두 번째 결과물인 《역상고성(曆象考成)》(1722)의 태양 이론편인 〈일전역리〉와 계산 절차인 〈일전역법〉 및 계산수치표인 〈일전표〉의 내용을 정리하고 분석한 것이다. 《역상고성》은 서양 천문학의 체계를 따른 시헌력(時憲曆)의 원리와 방법을 중국인 학자들이 완전히 소화하여 중국화하고 역원을 강희 갑자년(1684)으로 바꾼 두 번째 시헌력법서이다.

    저자소개

    강민정 

    서울대학교 지구과학교육과와 (구)민족문화추진회 국역연수원 상임연구부를 졸업한 후 성균관대학교 한문고전번역협동과정에서 『구장술해(九章術解)의 연구와 역주』로 박사학위를 받았다. 한국고전번역원 연구원, 성균관대학교 대동문화연구원 수석연구원을 지냈으며, 지금은 천문산법류(天文算法類) 한문고전의 전문번역가로 활동하고 있다. 『승정원일기』, 『무명자집』, 『칠정산내편』 등의 번역에 참여하였다.


    김슬기 

    충북대학교 천문우주학과를 졸업한 후 서울대학교 과학사 및 과학철학 협동과정에서 조선후기 천문학사를 전공하고 있다. 석사 논문으로 「숙종 대 관상감의 시헌력 학습: 을유년 역서 사건과 그에 대한 관상감의 대응을 중심으로」를 작성하였고, 현재는 18세기 후반 서호수의 천문학 프로젝트를 분석하는 박사논문을 준비하고 있다. 최근 출판한 논문으로는 「18세기 중반 조선 일월식 계산의 새로운 기준으로서 청나라 일월식자문」, 「18세기 중ㆍ후반 관상감 관원의 정치적 지위 변화: 안국빈의 활동을 중심으로」 등이 있다.


    이면우 

    서울대학교 지구과학교육과를 졸업한 후 동 대학원에서 지구과학교육의 역사로 박사학위를 받았다. 서울 자양고, 경동고, 한성과학고 교사를 거쳐 춘천교육대학교 교수 및 총장, 한국일본교육학회장, 에너지기후변화교육학회장, 한국과학사학회장을 역임하였으며, 지금은 춘천교육대학교 과학교육과 교수이다. 저서로는 『천문학 탐구자들』, 역서로는 『서운관지』(공역) 등이 있다.


    최승언 

    서울대학교 천문학과를 졸업한 후 미국 미네소타대학교 대학원에서 천체물리학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 서울대학교 지구과학교육과 교수, 한국지구과학회장을 역임하였으며, 지금은 서울대학교 명예교수, (사)동서지행포럼 이사장이다. 저서로는 『천문학의 이해』, 『천체물리학의 이해』, 『최승언 교수의 천체지구과학 강의』 등이 있다.
